Backer’s Fine Clothing has been a cornerstone of men’s fashion since 1933. Originally established in New Haven, Connecticut by the Backer family, our mission has always been simple: deliver high-quality menswear with unmatched personal service.

In 1996, we relocated to Orange, Connecticut to better serve our growing clientele, while continuing to uphold the same traditions of craftsmanship and care that built our reputation.
